Planner
Electrify-my-home planner
See your whole home’s electrification at once. Set your location and bill, then pick the upgrades you’re weighing — solar, an EV, a heat pump, a battery — and the planner combines them into one estimate of yearly savings, CO₂ avoided, upfront cost and payback, using the same engines and sources as our individual calculators.
Using US averages. Set your state or ZIP for local electricity, fuel, sun and grid figures. Stays on your device.
Estimated combined savings, all picks
$2,329/yr
- CO₂ avoided / yr
- 6.7 t
- Estimated upfront
- $14,700
- Simple payback
- 6.3 years
- 10-year savings
- $23,287
Estimates only. Upfront covers solar and battery hardware; EV and heat-pump purchase prices aren’t included (use the full calculators for those). Tick the upgrades you’re weighing.
How this works
The planner runs each upgrade through the very same calculation engine as its standalone tool — your local electricity, fuel, sun and grid figures (from your state or ZIP) feed all of them at once, and your monthly bill estimates your annual usage for solar sizing. Then it sums the upgrades you tick into one picture.
- Solar → solar savings & ROI
- EV → EV vs gas cost
- Heat pump → heat pump savings
- Battery → home battery payback
Results are estimates to compare options, not a quote. The combined upfront figure covers solar and battery hardware; EV and heat-pump purchase costs vary too much to bundle here, so use those calculators for the full total-cost picture. Every default is editable and tied to a dated source on our methodology pages.
